What I Did During My Summer: A Photoessay

I found out what allergy season feels like in Eugene.

I finished my first year of grad school.

 I went home.

I came back.

I attended a wedding between two lovely people under an old tree.

I went adventuring in Oregon with some nifty people.

I celebrated my first year in Eugene.
 I went to the coast.

 I got lost.

 The fun kind.

I took a few flights.

I took a lot of flights.

I found out what it means "to be sent to Coventry."

I followed a giant Godiva puppet to a theatre conference.

I panicked before my presentation.

 It went fine.

I went to Stratford-Upon-Avon.

I visited Shakespeare's Birthplace.

I took pictures of swans.
and Phonebooths.

I saw theatre.

 I got lost again.

i found hope.

And old friends in very old places.

I fell in love with Edinburgh.

I explored Old Town and New Town.

II walked around a lot.

Uphill mostly.
And got very, very lost.

The not fun kind.

And just when I approached exasperation, I would turn around and see this...
and realize that I wasn't lost at all.

I was right where I needed to be.
